Spark Of Awesome Dad: Joe Quezada, Owner of No Worries Rooter
Gilbert, AZ: Business owner, husband and busy dad of four children including Josia with Down syndrome, has been awarded Down Syndrome Network of Arizona’s Spark of Awesome Dad Award. Joe Quezada has always taken a hands-on approach to raising Josia and supporting her as an advocate. The love he has for her fuels his passion to ensure her success in the community.
Joe’s mission has been to fiercely advocate for his daughter and support new parents. He began volunteering in his daughter’s kindergarten class in Gilbert by sharing his love of music. Joe is an active member of Down Syndrome Network’s Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome (D.A.D.S.) group and enjoys inspiring others by sharing his positive outlook about life and his daughter who has Down syndrome.
Joe is growing his family owned and operated plumbing business, No Worries Rooter, so Josia and other children will be able to be involved with the company, if they choose. Joe has dedicated his business to ensuring equal employment opportunities for those in the Down syndrome community. Joe Quezada’s dream is to mentor and train individuals with Down syndrome trade and other skills needed to succeed in the plumbing industry.
About No Worries Rooter: Founded in 2010 by Joe and Daryl Quezada, No Worries Rooter began with the birth of their first child who was born with Down syndrome. Worrying about their future, both for them and their daughter, they soon realized that the future could still be bright and worry free. With a passion for plumbing and entrepreneurship, they got to work and No Worries Rooter was born.
